We're back in Cairo today, but more in the city proper that on the outskirts.
Look, they have civilized shops here and everything.
A fine mosque with some minarets.
Even the apartment buildings are nicer.
Outside our hotel is a McDonalds, and they deliver.
The Hotel Safir, where we will spend out final couple of days.
It is much more elegant than anywhere else we have stayed. They definitely
saved the best for last.
Driving around we see the Cairo
Tower on the island of Zamalek. The island is in the middle of the
Nile with river on both sides.
